Cynical Bystander

I am a guy who spends most of his day time sitting in front of the computer, playing pool, and eating. I like sitting in a corner and watching how the world goes by. But I enjoy not being part of the action, but at some level I need to play some role. I guess by writing about what I observe, I will play my role.- an important one, nonetheless. Just imagine, who would have heard of Rama, had Valmiki not written Ramayana. Hence me==Valmiki, and the world == Rama

Are you passionate enough?

I have noticed that there are two kinds of people in this world- those who are passionate and those really dont care. There is nothing like i am *partially* passionate. People who are passionate really go crazy about everything. They live their life in a roller coaster, getting excited about the new place thats opened, the new piece of software code that they wrote, the new gadgets that on the markets right now, the cool new gal that;s joined their work place.... the list goes on

On the other hand, people who live their lives like they are in a big *zombie movie*, simply dont care. Show them a new gadget thats state-of-the-art, and they respond "Duh, so whats different about this?". They seem to have lost all the love in their lives. What is the use of such existence? Are they only here to fulfill the writ of "God". Or do they even believe in "God"?

What kind of person are you? Do you run around in joy, and smell the flowers, and get all excited getting up in the morning, thinking about a whole new day? or do you sulk around and send the day brooding and going through the motions.

think about it...
